To make friendly environment in school it is also very necessary to build friendly relations with others. Not to be shy to tell good words to others. Our social pedagogue came to our 5th graders and offered them the game “Tell it to yourself! Tell it to others!” – a compliment game with a ball. It shows positive ways how we can cheer up and support each other in daily situations, build positive communication among each other. The ability to tell others something good is one of the most important social skills. A good word at the right time can even save a life.
Neuroscience research shows that the ability to feel grateful – that is, the ability to appreciate the good that others have given us – is crucial to our own mental health.
Being able to see your own success, skills and talents means healthy self-esteem.
There are set of cards with positive statements to be told to oneself and set of cards with positive statements to be told to others.
