On May 16, 2023, teachers from partner schools from Turkey, Italy and Latvia as well as the management (Headmaster Krzysztof Rokita and Deputy Headmistress Agnieszka Pachocka) and SP11 teachers implementing the Erasmus+ project at school (Ms. Justyna Adach, Ms. Agnieszka Jasztal-Rdzanek, Ms. Magdalena Majchrzyk and Mr. Artur Turaj) met in the City Hall with Deputy Mayor Ms. Elżbieta Gralec and Deputy Mayor Mr. Marcin Gołębiowski. Mr. Marcin Gołębiowski presented the location of Starachowice, talked about the tourist values of our region and presented the city’s investment plans regarding education. Ms Elżbieta Gralec spoke about Norwegian funds and the municipality’s efforts to obtain as much financial resources as possible for the implementation of educational and social goals.
After the meeting in the City Hall in SP11, a training for the staff was held, which was attended by teachers from partner schools, SP11 teachers: Ms. Agnieszka Jasztal-Rdzanek, Ms. Magdalena Opozda, Ms. Marlena Przepióra and Ms. Magdalena Majchrzyk and students of classes 7dw and 8b. The training was conducted by school counsellor Ms. Iwona Gądek and school psychologist Ms. Agnieszka Dygas. Students and teachers worked in groups learning different techniques to fight anger while having fun at the same time. The most enthusiasm was aroused by the task of building a tower of cardboard boxes together and piercing balloons filled with “anger”. In the afternoon, our guests visited the Świętokrzyski National Park, visited the monastery on the Holy Cross Mountain and Gołoborze.
