Active break – Latvia

In the beginning of December 2022 pupils from the 7th grade worked hard to make unusual adornments for the school corridors – activities for breaks. Working together in teams pupils practiced cooperation skills, sharing their thoughts, talking with each other to reveal their ideas and find the best solution. The youngest pupils of the school – the 1st graders – were the lucky ones to be the first who tried them out. Physical activities and joy during breaks is definitely one of the clues how to create a friendly and peaceful environment in the school. This convenes very much with the slogan “Hands are for helping – not hurting!”
